SALES ORDER PROCESSOR & ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT
LOCATION: TYNE DOCK, SOUTH SHIELDS, TYNE & WEAR NE33 5SP
SALARY: £25k per annum
Full-time 37.5 hours per week
Office based role: at least 80% of the working week
Monday to Friday, 9am to 5.30pm including 1 hour lunch break

Reporting to the Transactional Finance Manager you are part of our team raising and printing of our retail invoices and credit notes. You will also spend time liaising with our third-party despatch facility in dealing with any queries. Part of the role involves setting up new accounts and new EDI connections and therefore strong communication skills are a must as you will be speaking to our internal and external customers as well as communicating with internal departments. You will also be liaising with our Retail Sales Team over product pricing issues and will be expected to identify any pricing errors.
Your role also includes dealing with insurance claims, matching debit notes and chasing our reps to collect stock from stores. Data entry is key as you will be responsible for some of our customer accounts, making sure credits are up to date and sent to customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Raise all types of orders EDI and manual

Transfer orders

Transmit orders to our third-party provider

Raise and send invoices & credits for our customers via EDI/email/post

EDI (New orders/ invoices/ credits / ASNs / Debit notes) TrueCommerce

Deal with all new EDI customer set ups and any other issues

All types of credits (Price markdowns/returns/shortages)
- Answer queries from internal and external parties

Carry out the end of month closure processes

Liaise with internal and external customers over price and stock issues

Chasing reps for stock collections from stores

Matching off stock with returned debit notes

Lock up transfers

Insurance claims for missing parcels

Dealing with courier returns or misrouted parcels

Process all returns into our warehouses

Mezz in and outturns
- Raise auction orders and invoices
Experience & Skills
- Ability to prioritise tasks, plan ahead and organise the day

Excellent data entry accuracy and speed as well as an eye for detail

Strong IT skills, especially Ms Excel, Word & Outlook

Ability to communicate at all levels - evidence of good oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
