Summary of main purpose of the role:
Working alongside the Prison Resources Project Lead to provide administration, production and procurement support for our national resources programmes.
Main duties and Responsibilities:
For any new Prison Resources projects and the current projects including
1. Stories of Hope packs
2. In-cell Creative Courses for prisons
3. Other Faith Resources & bespoke packs for prisons (inclusive of new believer packs, Alpha packs, timeless packs and Christmas gifts)
Be responsible for:
- Procuring wholesale items for our national resource projects ensuring value for money across all areas
- Providing accurate costing and budget data internally
- Management of our production schedules
- Ongoing management of resources e.g. obtaining contributors, checking of re-use, feedback etc
- Coordinating the security clearance, packing and distribution of all resources across the UK
- Coordination of prison workshop and day to day relationship with related prison staff and prison peer mentors
- Management of key contracts eg DX, Workshop SLA, graphic designer
- Collating impact and financial figures and feedback for reporting
- Client Management – chaplains and prisoners (responding to letters etc)
- Relationship management – suppliers, content providers and contributors etc
- Management of stock and ensuring up to date stock checks
- Supporting funding applications and contract submissions with admin, data and imagery.
- Providing procurement and production support in the development of new resources
- Supporting the prototype of new resources
- Support at key events e.g. chaplaincy conferences
4. Media: audio and video resources
Be responsible for:
- Collating impact figures and feedback for reporting
- The printing and distribution of DVDs and online copies of media
General:
- Attend and promote resources at relevant events, conferences etc.
- Monitoring and reporting performance and impact measurement data, and ensuring accurate reporting both internally and externally including, but not limited to, contractors, funders etc.
- Supporting the development of new resources along with Prison Resources Project Lead
- Providing procurement support for prototyping and new resources in development

- Previous experience in a coordination/project lead role

- The ability to manage self, including balancing conflicting priorities and working to deadlines.
- Ability to drive and access to a car
Desirable Skills and Abilities
- Ability to use design software
- Production or procurement experience
