Job Title: Accounts Assistant (Part-Time / Full-Time)
Location: Cardiff

About Us:
We are a well-established award winning Solicitors based in Cardiff, providing a wide range of legal services to individuals and businesses. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our team.

The Role:
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with accounts experience—ideally within the legal sector—to support the day-to-day financial operations of the firm. The role can be offered on a part-time or full-time basis, depending on the candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assisting with day-to-day accounts functions, including purchase and sales ledger
- Processing invoices, payments, and receipts
- Bank reconciliations
- Assisting with month-end and year-end procedures
- Maintaining accurate financial records in line with legal accounting standards
- Supporting compliance with Solicitors Accounts Rules

- Checking conveyancing completion statements and packs

Requirements:

- Previous experience in an accounts or finance role
- Experience within a legal environment is highly desirable
- Familiarity with legal accounting systems and Solicitors Accounts Rules (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
