About the Role
We are looking for a full-time Optical Manager to join us in delivering outstanding patient care.
As an Optical Manager, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the practice, supporting both patients and the clinical team. You'll oversee administrative processes, coordinate appointments, manage practice systems, and help maintain an efficient and welcoming environment for everyone who visits.
Working closely with the Optometrist, you'll assist with supplementary testing, pre-screening, and patient preparation, helping to deliver a seamless clinical experience.
You'll also be responsible for dispensing spectacles, providing expert guidance on frame and lens options, taking measurements, supporting fittings and aftercare, and ensuring all records and processes are completed accurately and efficiently.
Acting as the Optical Manager within the practice, you'll help maintain high standards across all areas of the business, supporting workflow, compliance, and patient care. Above all, you'll bring strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive, patient-focused approach to everything you do, helping the practice deliver an exceptional experience every day.
This is a role for someone with previous experience working as an Optical Assistant. Our ideal candidate takes pride in offering honest advice, building trust with patients, and being part of a team that delivers quality service while supporting one another.
