Full job description

The Clubhouse is a unique Exclusive Men's Grooming and Aesthetics club, based in the beautiful town of Beverley East Yorkshire.

We are looking for a barber with experience, talent and above all else incredible customer service.

Responsibilities:

To provide polite and professional barber services to customers at all times.

To provide the first point of contact for customers, acknowledge each customer when entering and leaving the shop. Dealing with customer queries in a courteous and helpful manner.

To be responsible for the cleanliness of the shop to a high standard including sweeping the floor and regularly cleaning and polishing the shop.

To be responsible for ensuring all workstations and equipment are maintained (where necessary) and mirrors are cleaned for each member of the team.

To observe the senior The Clubhouse team with their customers, observing their skill, interaction with customers and the techniques used to learn about the The Clubhouse experience.

Cutting and trimming hair according to clients' instructions.

Styling hair
Shaving, trimming and shaping clients’ beards and moustaches.

Washing and conditioning clients’ hair.

Ensuring that combs, scissors, razors, and other instruments are cleaned and sanitised after each use.

Supervising apprentices and trainees.

Providing face, scalp and neck massages.

Providing hairstyle suggestions to clients.

To assist in the smooth running of The Clubhouse by running errands including getting the daily newspapers, and supplies for drinks shopping.

To monitor stock control on all products, drinks and other consumables (napkins, till rolls, cleaning products, toilet rolls etc.)

To comply with the Health & Safety regulations at work regulations.

To undertake any other duties that are deemed relevant for the purpose of the job.

Job Types: Permanent, Part-time, Full-time

Pay: £110.00-£130.00 per day

Ability to commute/relocate:

Beverley HU17 0AA: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

Barbering: 3 years (required)

Work Location: In person
