We are looking for a Repairs Technician to join our team at our Scunthorpe distribution centre. This hands-on role is key to keeping our products in top condition - from diagnosing and repairing returned items to deciding which products are worth restoring or replacing. You will use your technical expertise and commercial judgement to maximise the value of our stock, improve repair processes, and help prevent repeat issues. Working closely with the supply chain and customer support teams, you will play an important part in enhancing product quality, reducing waste, and ensuring customers receive reliable, high-performing products.

Your role:
- Conduct advanced diagnostics and repairs on returned electrical and mechanical products.
- Use available parts to complete customer repairs, refurbish clearance stock, or return items to a saleable condition.
- Make informed decisions on whether to repair or scrap items based on cost-effectiveness and product value.
- Log, track, and report repair activities using IT systems to ensure compliance with service standards.
- Work closely with supply chain and customer support teams to identify recurring issues and suggest product or process improvements.
- Proactively suggest and implement ways to streamline repairs, improve efficiency, and reduce repeat faults.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organised repair and warehouse area.
Skills We Love:
- Experience diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical systems
- Ability to lead by example and coordinate effectively with colleagues
- Strong problem-solving skills with a methodical and innovative approach
- Confident using computer systems for logging, tracking, and reporting
- High attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive approach to work
- Able to work independently and contribute effectively within a team
Working Hours:
- Full time, 8.30am-5.00pm, Monday-Friday. (37.5hrs per week).
- You will be based at our Technical Centre of Excellence in Scunthorpe (DN15 8NL).

Pay: £25,875.00-£28,463.00 per year
