This is an opportunity you don’t want to miss. We have an exciting opportunity for a Speech & Language Therapist to join our Non Custodial team!

Hours:
18.75 hours per week
Monday - Friday: core office hours
days to be discussed with successful candidate

Salary:
This position is part time and you will receive a salary of £24,500 - £25,597 per annum

Location:

Regional role to support two of the four regions within our Non Custodial service.

What you'll be doing

As our new Speech & Language Therapist, you will:

Liaise and consult with other Speech and Language Therapists and/or other professions and agencies within mainstream primary and secondary provider services
To prioritise, organise and manage a highly complex referrals on the basis of risk
To undertake comprehensive assessment of adults referred using investigative and analytic skills and to formulate individualised interventions based on advanced clinical reasoning and partnership working
To provide highly specialist report and recommendations to the Police and Court Services
To provide clinical training, supervision and support to assistants, generic workers and volunteers and others as agreed with the regional and local managers.
To work within the service multidisciplinary team advising on the management of specific Speech and Language Therapy related clinical issues, to collaborate in the development and co-ordination of team objectives and in the development of care pathways and care protocols related to the specialist area.

Qualifications and skills required:

Recognised SALT degree
Registered with the HPCP
Registered with RCSLT
Evidence of continuous professional development
The post holder will need a minimum of 4 years post qualification experience.
Experience of working with service users, face to face, with a variety of health needs.
Experience of training other professionals
