Experienced Jewellery Sales & Customer Service Assistant
Four days per week: Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday
Amanda Coleman Jewellery is an award-winning independent jewellery brand. We have been designing and making handcrafted jewellery in the heart of Lincoln since 1998.
Alongside our workshop, our beautiful Cathedral Quarter shop showcases our collections and gives customers a warm, personal and memorable shopping experience.
We are now looking for an experienced Sales and Customer Service Assistant to become an important part of our small team.
This is not simply a till-operating role
We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with people, takes pride in beautiful presentation and naturally notices what needs doing.
You might be the sort of person who straightens a picture that is hanging crooked, notices fingerprints on a glass display cabinet or sees that a necklace is not sitting properly before anyone else does.
In a small independent business, there is not always someone assigning the next task. We therefore need someone who is comfortable taking initiative, caring for the shop and finding useful things to do during quieter periods.
That might mean refreshing a display, replenishing stock, packaging website orders, preparing for a customer event or simply making sure that every detail of the shop looks its best.
The role
This is a varied, customer-facing position combining jewellery sales, exceptional customer service, shop presentation and administrative support.
You will help customers choose jewellery for gifts, special occasions and themselves. You will learn about our designs, materials and the stories behind our collections, allowing you to offer a knowledgeable and personal service.
You will also help with online orders, displays, stock preparation, general administration and the preparation of seasonal promotions and special events.
