Plastic Fabricator / Plastic Welder – Manufacturing & Engineering
Are you an experienced Plastic Fabricator, Plastic Welder, Fabricator, or Metal Fabricator looking for your next opportunity?
We are a well-established manufacturer of industrial fume extraction fans and ventilation equipment and are looking to recruit a motivated individual to join our production team.
While experience in plastic fabrication is preferred, we are equally interested in experienced steel or metal fabricators who are keen to learn a specialist trade. Full training in plastic welding and fabrication will be provided for the right candidate.

What You'll Be Doing
- Manufacturing and assembling bespoke plastic fume extraction fan units and associated equipment.
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and manufacturing specifications.
- Plastic welding using hot air welding equipment and recognised fabrication techniques.
- Cutting, machining, drilling, shaping and assembling plastic components.
- Using hand tools, power tools and workshop machinery safely and efficiently.
- Measuring and marking out materials accurately.
- Carrying out quality inspections to ensure products meet our high standards.
- Maintaining a safe, clean and organised workshop.

Skills & Experience
- Experience in fabrication, engineering or manufacturing.
- Plastic welding experience is advantageous but not essential.
- Metal fabrication experience welcomed – full plastic welding training provided.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Good mechanical aptitude.
- Confident using hand tools and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Reliable, hardworking and committed to producing high-quality workmanship.
