Full job description

Overview

We are looking for a reliable and professional HGV Class 1 Night Trunker to join our growing team. This is a Monday to Friday role, working 12-hour night shifts, carrying out trunking operations to pallet hubs using a variety of trailers.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced driver seeking regular work, competitive benefits, and bonus opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Complete scheduled night trunking deliveries and collections to pallet hubs.
Conduct daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects.
Ensure all deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and on time.
Comply with all Driver Hours, Working Time Directive, and company policies.
Complete all relevant transport documentation accurately.

Operate a range of trailers including:

Double deck trailers
Single deck trailers
Curtain-sided trailers
Box trailers

Skills & Experience

Essential

Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence.
Valid Driver CPC qualification.
Digital Tachograph Card.
Good knowledge of UK driving regulations and driver hours.
Excellent time management and a professional attitude.
Strong commitment to safety and customer service.

Desirable

ADR Licence (preferred but not essential).

20 days annual leave plus statutory Bank Holidays.

Additional ADR bonus where applicable.
Stable, full-time employment with regular work.

Hours of work: Monday - Friday, 6:30pm - 6:30am
