Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Assistant Martial Arts Instructor to join our dynamic team. This role involves leading some classes, but with support and training, if necessary. You will be delivering high-quality martial arts training programmes, fostering a positive learning environment, and assisting students of all ages in developing their skills and confidence. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sports coaching and teaching, with a commitment to promoting discipline, respect, and personal growth through martial arts. Responsibilities
- Have enhanced DBS
- Support students in learning techniques, stances, and forms while ensuring safety and proper form.
- Help organise class schedules, equipment setup, and maintain the cleanliness of training areas.
- Provide encouragement and constructive feedback to motivate students and enhance their learning experience.
- Demonstrate martial arts techniques when required and participate actively in class activities.
- Support the organisation of special events, demonstrations, or competitions as needed.
- Uphold the organisation’s standards of behaviour, discipline, and respect during all sessions.
Qualifications
- Previous sports coaching experience or background in martial arts is highly desirable.
- Proven teaching ability with excellent communication skills.
- Enthusiastic attitude with a genuine interest in mentoring others through martial arts training.
- Ability to work well within a team environment and follow instructions from senior staff.
- Organised, reliable, and able to motivate students of diverse ages and backgrounds.
- A commitment to maintaining a safe, respectful, and inclusive training environment.
