Overview

Join our dynamic security team as a Static Security Officer, where your vigilance and dedication will help safeguard our facilities and assets. In this vital role, you will be the first line of defense, maintaining a secure environment through vigilant surveillance, loss prevention strategies, and prompt response to incidents. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will ensure the safety of personnel, property, and information at all times. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to contribute to a secure and protected environment while developing your skills in security operations.

Responsibilities

Monitor security cameras (CCTV) continuously to identify suspicious activity or security breaches.
Conduct regular surveillance rounds around the premises to ensure safety and security protocols are maintained.
Implement loss prevention measures by observing and deterring theft or vandalism.
Respond promptly to alarms or incidents, assessing situations calmly and efficiently.
Provide first aid assistance when necessary, following established emergency procedures.
Maintain detailed logs of surveillance activities, incidents, and security checks for reporting purposes.
Enforce access control policies by verifying identities and authorizing entry for authorized personnel, visitors, or contractors.

Qualifications

Proven experience in security or surveillance roles is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
Strong observational skills with the ability to detect anomalies or suspicious behavior quickly.
Knowledge of CCTV systems and surveillance technology is a plus.
Ability to remain alert and attentive during long periods of static duty.
Basic first aid certification or willingness to obtain it upon hiring.
Excellent communication skills with a professional demeanor when interacting with staff and visitors.
Ability to work independently while following established security protocols.
