Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Air Filter Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling and maintaining air filters in a factory environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent attention to detail. This position is essential in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our air filtration systems.

We are looking for a punctual, reliable team player.

NOTE: Applicants will go through a half day assessment program to assess suitability for both parties.

Responsibilities

Cover all tasks concerning the production/manufacture of ITG air filters; which include gluing, use of the clicker bed, band saw, guillotinge, spot welder, pillar drill, oiling and rebating (where applicable)
Utilise power tools and hand tools effectively to complete assembly tasks.
Maintain a clean and organised work area within the Factory
Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes and improve efficiency.
Follow all safety protocols while operating machinery and handling materials.
Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies and reporting shortages as needed.

Requirements

Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
Previous experience working in a warehouse/factory environment is advantageous.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
A commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality in all tasks performed.
Ensure all Health and Safety regulations are adhered to, including all relevant safety work wear.
To adhere and uphold responsibilities relating to our Quality Management System.
