Access4Lofts is a fast growing business which is totally dedicated to customer service and customer satisfaction. We supply and fit loft hatches, ladders, boarding and insulation. Due to increased demand for our services we are now looking for an additional loft storage assistant to join the Glasgow South business.
The work involves:
- Working in occupied properties
- Loading the loft with the materials required for the job, laying boarding and insulation material (full training will be given)
- Driving van from depot to site
- Keeping workplace and customers home tidy
- Working safely at height, from ladders
- Working in the confined space of a loft
- Providing customer satisfaction
Qualifications required:
Full driving licence
The ideal candidate will:
- Have the ability to work safely and efficiently in the confined space of a loft – Fully certified Health and Safety Training will be provided
- Have the ability to work safely at heights- Fully certified Health and Safety Training will be provided
- Have excellent time management and excellent customer care skills
- The ability to understand and confirm verbal and written works and safety instructions
- Have the ability to ensure all company Health and Safety rules are adhered to at all times
- Hold a Full UK driving licence
- Be customer focused, with excellent communication skills.
- Be competent and be able to work on own initiative
- Have a high level of problem solving skills
- Have a positive attitude
- Be very punctual, reliable and trustworthy
- Be organised and efficient
- Be prepared to work overtime when required
- Be well presented and have pride in everything they do
- Be able to instruct and manage others when required
The job would be ideal for people from the following backgrounds (fitter)
Joiner
- Carpenter (1st fix)
- Cladder (fascia/soffit)
- Framer
- Roofer
- Flooring Installer
- Decking Installer
- Loft Converter
- Multi trader/Handyman
However, other backgrounds will be considered on their merit.
Job type: Full Time
Hours – Usual working days are Monday to Friday. The job starts at 08:30am when you arrive at the customer's house and ends when you leave the workshop at 5pm.
We are based in Glasgow and most work will be completed in the Glasgow, Lanarkshire and Renfrewshire areas, but we also cover parts of Ayrshire and Inverclyde etc so travel to jobs will be required.
