Full job description

Are you a qualified Electrician with experience in Electrical Projects and Installations? Do you have testing and inspection, 1st / 2nd fix installation and controls experience?? Are you looking to work for an Award Winning company that offers up skilling and training?

SGS Heating & Electrical is a well-established heating, plumbing & electrical company based in Salisbury, Wiltshire. Our service offering covers all heating, plumbing and electrical solutions needed in a home or business, as well as providing Renewable and Solar PV systems + full bathroom and kitchen installations.

The role sits primarily within our Electrical Department and would be extremely varied, but the key tasks would include:

Electrical Projects and Installation work
Electrical testing and inspection.
Consumer unit replacements.
Re-wires of domestic properties, including 1st and 2nd Fix.
Reactive maintenance works.
Heating controls (training provided).
Solar PV installations (training provided).

Key qualifications and requirements would include:

A completed apprenticeship.
City & Guilds 2365 (Part 1 and 2).
City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection & Testing).
City & Guilds BS7671 (18th Edition).
Strong attention to detail is essential.
Good communication skills with the ability to work alongside other people inside and outside the business.
Used to working to a program of works and to deadlines.
Organised with the ability to prioritise own workload and work proactively.
Valid, clean UK drivers’ licence.
Experience working in customer-occupied properties and dealing with customers.
Would be beneficial to be based within a commutable distance of Salisbury.
