We're looking for fun, enthusiastic and passionate people to step up into a team-leader role in our hard-working pub teams.

All team leaders are promoted from within, so you'll already understand how our pubs operate and what great service looks like. You don't need previous supervisory experience, just a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and the ability to stay calm under pressure. Through our award-winning training and team leader development programme, we'll teach you everything you need to know.

The role

At a glance, your role is to support the management team, working as part of the team to ensure that food and drinks are served to the correct specification, that the pub operates safely and efficiently and that high standards of cleanliness and customer service are consistently maintained.

Our pubs open early and close late, so we offer great flexibility with shift patterns, including mornings, evenings, weekends and late finishes.

Duties include:

overseeing and guiding the front-of-house operation, leading by example, demonstrating how to complete tasks, motivating and coaching associates to:

o take orders, prepare, dispense and serve drinks to the correct spec, whether at the bar or via the customer app
o deliver food to customers, ensuring that check-backs are completed and clearing plates within the required timeframe
o provide friendly customer interactions, saying "hello", thanking customers and building rapport
o be knowledgeable about promotions, events and new products
o maintain the clean-as-you-go standards, including clearing tables, wiping surfaces and carrying out toilet checks

working in all areas, including glass-washing, restocking fridges, floor- and beer garden-clearing and other duties, as needed
assisting with opening and closing duties, ensuring that the pub is prepared for service and closed down correctly
supporting the training, mentoring and motivation of associates during shifts
helping to maintain compliance with company policies, health and safety standards and operational procedures
