Full job description

CloudNight Ltd is an established and growing property management company specialising in holiday lets, serviced accommodation and residential property management. We have built a strong reputation for exceptional service and are now looking for a commercially minded Managing Director to lead the business into its next phase of growth.

This is not a conventional management role. We are looking for someone who wants to build a business, not simply manage one.

The Opportunity

You will initially receive a salary of £30,000 together with 20% equity in the business, with a clearly defined pathway to increasing your shareholding to equal ownership, based upon agreed performance milestones and long-term commitment.

This is a genuine opportunity to become a business owner rather than an employee.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the day-to-day operations of the business.
Drive revenue growth and profitability.
Develop and implement strategic business plans.
Recruit, manage and inspire the team.
Improve systems, automation and operational efficiency.
Develop relationships with landlords, investors and commercial partners.
Identify new revenue streams and expansion opportunities.
Take full responsibility for financial performance and business growth.
Work alongside the founder to transition operational leadership before ultimately taking responsibility for running the company.

About You

You are likely to have:

Previous experience in a senior leadership or Managing Director role.
Strong commercial and financial acumen.
Experience scaling a service-based business.
Excellent leadership and people management skills.
A proven ability to make decisions and take ownership.
An entrepreneurial mindset with the ambition to build long-term value.
Experience within property, hospitality, lettings or related industries would be advantageous but is not essential.

Ability to commute/relocate:

Orpington BR6: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

Short Term Letting or Property Management: 2 years (required)
