Nursery – Bright Horizons Columbus Courtyard Day Nursery and Preschool

Salary – From £33,467 per annum (dependant on qualification/s and experience)

Location – Canary Wharf, London

We’re looking for an Early Years Teacher to join our Columbus Courtyard nursery, which offers staff a vibrant and purpose-built setting designed to inspire. With five spacious rooms filled with natural light, dedicated indoor garden spaces, a sensory room, and a bespoke curriculum, the nursery provides a nurturing environment for both children and staff. Commuting is simple, with the nursery just a short walk from Canary Wharf Tube and Westferry DLR stations.

The Role

As an Early Years Teacher, you will plan and deliver rich learning opportunities and exceptional care that helps all the children to develop and meet their individual needs. You will make accurate and effective assessments, which reflect the needs, interests, and stages of each child, and ensure the indoor and outdoor environments are consistently stimulating and inspiring for the children.

What we’re looking for

Hold either Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS), Early Years Practitioner Status (EYPS), or a full and relevant Level 6 Early Years Qualification
Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
Sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection
Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents/ carers
Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both colleagues and parents
