We are offering an opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic dietitian with an interest in paediatrics to join and grow our friendly team. You will join a multi professional team of 9 Community Paediatric Dietitians and 1 Paediatric Nutrition Nurse, with excellent administration support. It is preferable that you have paediatric experience to be considered for a band 6 post, but not essential.
This is a clinical role working with children & families referred into the service by BCHC colleagues and GPs, as well as children discharged from acute units. This is an exciting time for Paediatric Dietitians in BCHC . We are about to move into an integrated Children's service, whilst maintaining close links with dietetic colleagues. This award-winning service supports the training of dietetic students from 2 universities and staff regularly teach at Masters level. You will have a high degree of autonomy in your clinical practice and day-to-day organisation of your workload, within the context of supportive team of peers.
