Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Kitchen Team Leader to oversee daily kitchen operations within our busy hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional food and service. This role involves supervising kitchen staff, ensuring food safety standards are maintained, and fostering a positive team atmosphere to deliver high-quality dining experiences.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, including chefs, cooks, and assistants
Oversee food production, ensuring dishes are prepared to high standards and in a timely manner
Manage food preparation and cooking processes to optimise efficiency and quality
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times
Assist in training new team members and providing ongoing support to existing staff
Maintain organisation of kitchen supplies, equipment, and ingredients
Collaborate with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service delivery
Monitor cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to health & safety protocols
Support menu planning and contribute ideas for new dishes or improvements

Experience

Previous experience within a retail kitchen or hospitality setting
Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster teamwork
Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in hygiene management
