Job Advert

Lead culinary excellence across multiple hotels and shape the future of dining experiences in Bournemouth. This Regional Head Chef role offers the rare opportunity to influence kitchen operations at scale while developing your leadership skills across diverse hospitality environments.

What you'll be doing

You'll oversee kitchen operations and culinary standards across multiple Bournemouth hotels. Working between locations, you'll support daily operations while maintaining the highest standards.

Kitchen Operations & Standards:

Ensure kitchen staff adhere to quality, hygiene and cleanliness standards
Prepare, cook and present dishes to a high standard across all food services
Maintain food rotation, cleanliness and compliance with HACCP regulations
Complete daily records and ensure timely food delivery to service areas
Coordinate food preparation for hotel events

Team Leadership & Development:

Hire, train and supervise kitchen staff, delegating tasks and resolving issues
Mentor junior chefs and support cross-training across sections
Create and maintain kitchen staff schedules
Ensure team compliance with appearance and uniform standards

Business Management:

Monitor food costs, stock levels and contribute to operational audits
Manage food and supply orders within budget guidelines
Work with suppliers to secure quality goods at competitive prices
Achieve food GP targets and work within budget parameters
Assist with menu planning, taste panels and recipe development

Guest Experience:

Communicate effectively with front-of-house teams to ensure guest satisfaction
Suggest ideas to improve kitchen profitability and guest experience
Stay informed on menu items, allergens and hotel promotions
Align culinary activities with hotel strategy and brand standards
