Severn Dance Studios is seeking a qualified and experienced Acro Dance Teacher to join our outstanding team and help inspire the next generation of young dancers from September 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity to work within a brand-new, purpose-built dance facility that has recently been selected by The Royal Ballet School as its South West Associate Centre, offering exceptional training opportunities within a thriving and ambitious environment.
The Role
We are looking for a knowledgeable Acro teacher to deliver structured and engaging classes, ideally on a Monday evening, although we can be flexible with days.
You will be expected to deliver well-structured classes appropriate to a range of ages and abilities, ensuring safe practice at all times and maintaining the highest standards of teaching.
About You
Our ideal candidate will:
- Hold a recognised qualification in Acro Dance teaching
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of safe progressions and injury prevention
- Be confident teaching a range of ages and abilities
- Be professional, reliable and well-organised
- Have excellent communication skills
- Share our commitment to a positive, supportive and ambitious learning environment
Additional qualifications in RAD ballet, ISTD tap, or other dance genres would be an advantage but are not essential.
