About Atlas Repairs
Atlas Repairs is a nationwide tail lift repair and maintenance company based in West Thurrock, Essex. We keep the country's commercial vehicle fleets moving - servicing, LOLER inspections, weight testing and repairs for some of the UK's biggest fleet operators.
The Role
We are looking for a Senior Service Planner / Scheduler to take the lead in planning the daily workload of our nationwide team of mobile engineers and keeping our customers informed at every step. This is a fast-paced office environment with a busy telephone and email inbox to stay on top of. You will be:
- Booking service, LOLER inspection and repair jobs with customers and end sites
- Planning engineer routes and daily workloads to meet response times
- Updating customers on job progress, ETAs and completions
- Keeping our job management system up to date (we are moving to JobLogic - full training given)
- Working closely with our stores and service teams on parts availability and job readiness
About You
An experienced planner - this role is well suited to someone from a transport planning background looking to bring their routing and scheduling skills across to service and maintenance. Organised and calm under pressure, confident on the phone, good with systems, and comfortable taking ownership of a busy schedule of engineers and customer bookings. Experience scheduling engineers or vehicles, transport planning or running a service desk is expected - knowledge of the commercial vehicle or tail lift industry even better. Full training on our systems provided.
Hours and Pay
Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 5.00pm, office based at our West Thurrock depot. Some flexibility on working hours offered. £35,000 per year.
