Full job description

Location: Squerryes Vineyards, Pilgrims Way, Westerham, Kent TN16 2 DT
Contract: Temporary seasonal work
Start date: TBC (likely third week of September)
End date: TBC (likely first week of October)
Hours: 7:30am to 5pm, with flexibility required, as days may be longer or shorter depending on picking volume.
Pay: £13.00 p/h

We are looking for reliable and hardworking seasonal grape harvest workers to join our vineyard team during the harvest period. This is a hands-on outdoor role, ideal for people who enjoy practical work, working as part of a team, and being involved in the production of high-quality grapes.

What You’ll Do

Hand-pick grapes carefully and place them into buckets or crates.
Sort grapes to remove damaged, overripe, or unsuitable fruit.
Carry or move filled containers as directed by the vineyard supervisor.
Follow harvesting, quality, and health and safety instructions.
Work efficiently as part of a friendly vineyard team.
Help with basic clean-up and equipment preparation at the end of the day.

What We’re Looking For

No previous vineyard experience required — full guidance will be provided.
Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to the agreed harvest dates.
Comfortable working outdoors in changing weather conditions.
Physically able to bend, stand, walk, and lift during the working day.
Good attention to detail and willingness to follow instructions.
Own transport required as the vineyards are in a rural location.
