We're looking for an ambitious, self-motivated and commercially-minded Area Manager to help drive the continued growth of our portfolio across the Cotswolds, Somerset and Dorset.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys building lasting relationships, developing new business opportunities and working independently. You'll play a key role in growing one of the UK's most respected holiday letting brands in the Cotswolds, while supporting the success and optimisation of our existing portfolio throughout Somerset and Dorset.
Whether you're helping owners maximise the success of their holiday let, identifying opportunities for growth, or ensuring our properties meet the highest standards, you'll be trusted to manage your own territory while being supported by an experienced and collaborative team.
The role is full-time and home-based, offering significant autonomy and flexibility. There is also the option for office working in our Bridport office. You'll work closely with colleagues based at our head office in Hayle, Cornwall, and across the wider business to deliver exceptional service and commercial performance. Regular travel across the region is essential, and we’ll provide a company car for your use.
Key responsibilities:
- Building strong relationships with existing owners and supporting long-term retention
- Identifying and securing new holiday letting opportunities through both traditional and innovative lead generation activities
- Advising and supporting new entrants to the holiday let market
- Driving portfolio growth and revenue performance across your territory
- Analysing local market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities
- Carrying out routine property visits to maintain quality standards and maximise performance
- Working with our in-house marketing team to identify and develop local marketing opportunities
- Supporting a shared weekend duty rota
We're looking for someone who:
- Has a passion for property, tourism or customer-focused business development
- Is commercially-minded and able to identify opportunities to grow revenue and improve performance
- Is confident building trusted relationships
- Enjoys working independently whilst remaining a strong team player
- Is highly organised and capable of managing a varied workload across a large geographical area
- Has a proactive, creative approach to problem-solving and business growth
- Is comfortable using data-driven insights to support decision-making
- Has strong IT and numeracy skills
- Ideally has experience in holiday lettings, property management or business development
