Salary: NJC Grade C: £25,989 - £26,403 FTE (This will be paid pro-rata to reflect hours and weeks worked)

Pilton Community College is seeking a highly organised and proactive SEN Administrator to join our dedicated SEND team. This is an exciting opportunity to support the delivery of high-quality provision for students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) within a supportive and inclusive secondary school environment.
Working closely with the SENDCo and Assistant SENDCo, you will play a vital role in ensuring that SEND processes run smoothly and that students, staff, parents, and external agencies receive effective and professional support.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive administrative support to the SEND team
Maintain accurate and compliant SEND records in line with the SEND Code of Practice
Coordinate and support Annual Reviews, statutory processes and documentation
Act as a key point of contact for parents, carers, staff and external agencies
Monitor and manage the SEND email inbox, responding and escalating as appropriate
Produce reports, meeting notes, and SEND documentation
Support the organisation of Teaching Assistant (TA) timetables and cover
Maintain SEND data within the school MIS (Arbor)
Assist with provision mapping and intervention tracking
We are looking for someone who:
Has strong administrative and organisational skills
Is confident using IT systems, including Microsoft 365 (experience with Arbor desirable)
Has experience working in an administrative role (school-based experience desirable)
Can communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
Is able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Has an understanding of SEND and inclusive practice (desirable)
Demonstrates professionalism, empathy, and a positive team approach
