Janah Management Co. Limited (a sister company of Godolphin Management Co. Limited) is looking for a Horsebox Driver to join our team. This is a unique and rewarding role, giving you the opportunity to transport world-class thoroughbred and endurance horses both internationally and across the UK.
About the Role
As a Horsebox Driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and comfortable transportation of elite horses across the globe. Your responsibilities will include:

International transport of thoroughbred and endurance horses, including long-distance journeys

UK travel, including transporting horses to airports

Supporting operating centre duties when not travelling

Observing rest days in line with driving regulations
No two days are the same in this dynamic role—you’ll combine travel, responsibility, and hands-on equine care.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
We’re looking for someone who:

Has proven experience in the equine industry
-
Demonstrates a strong understanding of equine welfare during transport
-
Is flexible and able to work varied hours, including overnight stays and weekends
-
Takes pride in delivering excellent service to both internal and external stakeholders
-
Has a solid understanding of transport legislation and vehicle safety requirements
Applicants must hold:

A current and valid HGV Licence (Category C)
-
Level 3 Award in the Principles of Transporting Horses by Road on Long Journeys (formerly ACET)
-
A valid Driver Tachograph Card
-
A valid Driver Qualification Card (DQC)
-
Certificate of Competence for Drivers and Attendants (EU)
A good knowledge of EU transport legislation, including CPC requirements, is highly desirable.
