Full job description

Sutterton Surgery is expanding and this has created the need for another dispensary administrator at the surgery.

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Dispensary Administrator to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our dispensary, providing administrative support and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate will possess strong clerical skills, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

Manage daily administrative tasks to ensure the dispensary operates efficiently.
Welcome patients at the Dispensary Hatch, dealing with queries in an efficient manner.
Perform data entry accurately and maintain up-to-date records.
Hand out medication to Dispensing patients checking patient ID or consent for someone else to collect on patient’s behalf ensurIng prescriptions are signed and endorsed and if appropriate collect prescription charges in accordance with Dispensary protocol.
Daily Cash reconciliation.
Daily counting of prescriptions.
Collaborate with colleagues to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information in compliance with regulations.
Sharing responsibility for maintaining equipment in a clean and tidy condition,
Assisting the Dispensary Manager in completing audits when requested

Skills

Proficiency in SystmOne is highly desirable.
Strong organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.
Excellent customer service skills.
Competence in data entry and managing electronic records.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

This role is 20 hours per week Monday to Friday 2.30pm to 6.30pm plus holiday cover as needed. If you are passionate about contributing to a dynamic team within the dispensary sector and possess the required skills, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
