Registered Nurse (NIGHTS) – Luxury Care Home in Hunters Creek

Your Role as Registered Nurse (NIGHTS) in Boston

In this influential and rewarding role, you will help shape the highest standard of care by:

· Administer prescribed medicines and document the same in accordance with the company’s procedures and NMC guidelines,

· Carry out regular checks on residents at intervals determined by the Registered Manager,

· Assess social and health care needs of new residents, and maintain on-going assessment and review of all other residents,

· Report any ill health amongst clients and make requests for GP / Professional visits where necessary,

· Ensure that clients’ care plans are completed and maintained in conjunction with residents, relatives and any other Health Care Professionals,

· Supervise and instruct junior and new staff members in all aspects of their work in the care home, giving help and guidance where appropriate,

· To build and maintain long standing relationship with residents with a variety of needs,

· To understand residents likes/dislikes and needs throughout the day as it can be daunting for them having different procedures carried out.

· Registered Nurse, registered with the NMC,

· Previous supervisory experience – support will be given to newly qualified staff.

This will be 4 shifts per week, each 12 hour shifts. Working Pattern is as follows:

WEEK 1 - Mon,Tue,Sat,Sun

WEEK 2 - Mon,Tue,Weds,Sun

Night shifts - 19.30pm - 07.30am

Hunters Creek work a 3 on 3 off rota, so weekend working will be required.

You will bring:

Registration with NMC
