What You'll Be Doing

Helping to manage queries coming into the Technical team.
Responding to technical enquiries from customers.
Completing and reviewing product specifications.
Supporting the approval and ongoing monitoring of suppliers.
Investigating customer complaints to ensure timely and effective resolution.
Conducting internal audits to assess compliance with the Quality Management System.
Completing Certificates of Authenticity and Certificates of Conformity for customers.
Coordinating product testing and shelf-life extensions where required.
Ensuring supplier documentation remains current and valid.
Attending site visits alongside the Assistant Technical Manager / Group Technical Manager.
Completing required training to remain up to date with changing legislation and standards.
Getting involved in a variety of projects designed to promote food safety.
Undertaking any other duties as reasonably required.

What You'll Bring

(Ideally) A food science qualification
1 year's relevant experience in a similar Technical role
Food safety knowledge and allergen awareness (full training will be given)
(Ideally) A full drivers licence, due to site visits
Attention to detail, numeracy and accuracy
IT literacy including Outlook, Excel, Work and online portals
Good verbal and written communication skills
Ability to organise and prioritise your workload and work at pace to meet multiple deadlines
Team player with a collaborative and flexible approach
Proactive and confident about using initiative
Open and honest with high standards of personal integrity.

Salary: £28-£30K depending on skills and experience

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 3 days onsite and up to 2 days homeworking per week after initial training period

Location: Brusco Head Office in Offenham near Evesham

Pay: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
