Full job description

Do you have previous experience in claims, with strong attention to detail?

Our client, a leading insurance firm, is looking for a Claims Assessor to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key part in supporting members, ensuring claims are handled accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess, process, and pay claims accurately across a range of products
Maintain detailed and up-to-date records of claims activities
Communicate regularly with claimants, providing clear updates and support
Liaise with partners, treatment providers, and internal teams to resolve queries
Investigate and respond to complaints or escalations promptly and professionally
Ensure all claims are handled in line with FCA, Data Protection, and regulatory standards

About You:

Previous experience within Claims or Insurance
Strong decision-making skills with excellent attention to detail
A customer-first mindset, able to handle sensitive queries with empathy and professionalism
Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills
Proactive and adaptable, able to manage workloads effectively to meet service levels
High personal standards in attendance, time-keeping, and conduct
