Overview

Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Health Care Support Worker, where your compassionate nature and proactive approach will make a meaningful difference in patients' lives. Duties

Support nursing staff by assisting with daily patient care activities such as mobility, hygiene, and feeding, following care plans established by registered nurses.
Help develop, implement, and review individual care plans to ensure personalized patient support that meets their specific needs.
Communicate effectively with patients to provide reassurance, gather information, and explain procedures clearly, fostering trust and comfort.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions, care activities, and observations using IT systems designed for healthcare settings.
Organize and prioritize daily tasks efficiently to ensure timely delivery of care services while adhering to safety protocols.
Assist in preparing treatment areas and ensuring all equipment is clean, functional, and ready for use in accordance with health standards.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient support activities and ensure seamless delivery of care.

Qualifications

Demonstrated understanding of basic nursing principles and patient care practices.
Experience or familiarity with creating and following care plans tailored to individual needs.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Proficiency with IT systems used for documentation and record keeping in healthcare environments.
Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented setting while demonstrating empathy and professionalism.
Prior experience in healthcare support roles is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates eager to learn.
