Full job description

Incatext Ltd, a well-established commercial furniture manufacturer, requires a skilled upholsterer, who is hard-working, reliable & flexible, to join our dynamic and friendly team based in Weston-Super-Mare.

The ideal candidate will have upholstery experience working in a fast paced factory setting, with the ability to create upholstered furniture to high standards by the set deadlines.

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualities:

Charismatic, focussed and driven to succeed
Flexible and adaptable approach with the drive to seek better ways of working
Able to complete tasks efficiently and to a high standard
Ability to meet strict deadlines whilst reacting to changing circumstances
Take pride in work with excellent attention to detail
Team player with ability to work independently using initiative
Good numeracy and literacy skills

Responsibilities will include

Prepping Items by applying webbing, foam and lining
Upholstery of furniture frames in fabrics, leather, or vinyl
Inspecting and correcting any defects to maintain high standards
Sewing fabric, leather, and other materials accurately using industrial machinery
Working with the team to pattern new models/designs
Assisting with occasional on-site installations or client visits
Completing work set by supervisor to required deadlines

Working Pattern:

Permanent, full-time position (39 hours per week)
Monday to Thursday 7.30am - 4.30pm, Friday 7.30am - 12.30pm
Flexible Working or Part time hours considered for the right candidate
