Trainee Silk Screen Printer - Hitchin - Full time from £24,000.00

We are a Garment Printing & Embroidery company based in Hitchin , Herts and a trainee position has arisen in our expanding screen print department.

The job involves (but not limited to) - Running an automatic screen print carousel as part of a team , mixing of ink colours to customers requirements, making / cleaning screens to print from, setting up machinery, moving stock/goods between departments, following instruction from provided paperwork / verbal instructions and producing printed goods to the required quality and specifications. There may be times when you are required to work within other departments as and when the need arises.

The applicant will need good physical fitness (this is an "on your feet" job) , a "can do" attitude, hard working, a keen eye for detail , motivated, proactive and a hands on approach to problem solving.

Full training across all aspects of garment printing will be provided for the right candidate.

Working Hours are Monday to Friday - 9.00am to 5.30pm (overtime may be required during busy periods) with a lunch break

Holiday of 4 weeks per year plus Bank Holidays and Christmas break.

Salary From 24K - 26K
