Full job description

We are looking for an inspirational teaching assistant to support a young child with autism. The position is fulltime and is to start in September. This post offers the opportunity to work as part of a supportive team to provide a caring, positive environment in which high standards of learning can flourish. Our children are motivated and curious learners who respond well when they are provided with our rich and imaginative curriculum.

If you would like to work in a thriving village school and are able to provide the excellent levels of nurture and support our children deserve then we would love to hear from you.

You will:

Be caring, patient and highly motivated
Have experience of working with children
Work closely alongside the class teachers to ensure the delivery of high quality personalised learning through instruction and under own initiative
Be able to uphold and promote the school’s inclusive ethos
Have a sense of humour!
