Kids Activity Instructor at Engineering For Kids, UK

Part-time - ideal for students, creatives, or anyone wanting rewarding extra work

Are you the kind of person who turns a cardboard box into a rocket ship and has kids hanging on your every word? Do you thrive on giggles, high-fives, and that magical spark when a child figures something out for the very first time?

At Engineering For Kids, we don’t just teach STEM - we make it ridiculously fun. We run hands-on after-school clubs, holiday workshops, camp, birthday parties, and exciting events where children aged 5–14 build, experiment, invent, and problem-solve through awesome activities like constructing marble runs, launching rockets, creating crazy contraptions, and team challenges that feel more like games than lessons.

Our mission? Ignite creativity, boost confidence, and show kids that learning can (and should) be the most exciting part of their week.

What you’ll be doing (the fun version):

Leading exciting, hands-on STEM activities and experiments for groups of happy 5–14 year olds
Turning “I can’t” into “Watch this!” with encouragement and creativity
Setting up cool builds, games, and challenges that get kids thinking, moving, and collaborating
High-fiving, cheering, and celebrating every “Eureka!” moment
Helping us deliver unforgettable after-school clubs, holiday camps, and parties

No engineering degree? No problem at all!

We’re not looking for rocket scientists (though we do build rockets!). We’re looking for energetic, creative people who simply love working with children.

This role is perfect for:

What we’re looking for:

You genuinely enjoy spending time with children and they enjoy spending time with you
You’re reliable, energetic, and can bring activities to life with enthusiasm
You’re creative and confident leading small groups
You’re willing to learn – full training and support provided!
DBS certificate (we can arrange this for you if you don’t have one)

No previous STEM experience or teaching qualifications required — just a big personality and a love for kids!
