Full job description

JOIN THE COAST 2 COUNTRY CLEANING TEAM!
We are seeking a reliable, motivated, and detail-oriented Cleaning Operative to join our team.

The successful candidate will play an important role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within our clients' premises. We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Carry out general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting
Clean and sanitise washrooms, kitchens, offices, and communal areas
Empty bins and replenish consumables as required
Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces such as door handles, light switches, and touch points
Ensure cleaning equipment and materials are used safely, maintained correctly, and stored appropriately
Report any maintenance concerns or health and safety issues to the supervisor
Follow company policies and health and safety procedures at all times
Attend training sessions and team meetings as required
Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver a high-quality cleaning service

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

Cleaning experience is desirable but not essential
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards
Good communication skills
Reliable, punctual, and professional in approach to work
Positive attitude and strong work ethic

WHAT CAN WE OFFER YOU:

This particular role does not require weekend work
Consistent part-time hours
Early morning shifts that leave the rest of the day free

WORKING HOURS:

12 hours per week (there is some flexibility on this start time- can be discussed)

✅ Monday : 2 hours (from 08:00)

✅ Tuesday : 3 hours (from 08:00)

✅ Wednesday: 2 hours (from 08:00)

✅Thursday: 3 hours (from 08:00)

✅ Friday: 2 hours (from 08:00)

No weekend work required - unless seeking occasional additional hours to cover absence/AL
