Barbering Educator/Trainer/Educator
Location - Francesco Group Poole Academy, 102 High Street, Poole, BH15 1DB
Type - Part-Time, Permanent
Hours - 1 Day per week, opportunity for more hours as the provision expands
Salary - £28,000 - £32,000 (pro rata, depending on experience & qualifications)

The Role
As a Barbering Educator, you will deliver high-quality education in our academy, assess learner progress, offer support, and cultivate positive working relationships. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in the classroom ensuring apprentices receive the best possible learning experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and inspiring barbering education sessions within the academy.
- Track learner progress and provide constructive feedback to help them achieve their qualifications.
- Ensure all apprentices meeting learning outcomes and quality standards.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices to keep your teaching relevant and impactful.
What we're looking for
- A qualified barbering professional with relevant teaching/training qualifications (Cert Ed, DTTLS or equivalent & Assessing Qualifications)
- Industry experience in barbering, with a passion for education and mentoring, ideally qualified to Level 3
- Prior teaching experience, ideally a minimum of 3 years
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage and build relationships with employers and learners alike
- A self-motivated individual who can work independently and as part of a team
