Full job description

Overview

A new boutique pilates studio is set to open in Kelham Island in late September early October. Looking for 2 part-time instructors to be part of the launch.

Duties

Plan and deliver engaging, safe, and effective reformer Pilates classes for members of varying fitness levels and experience
Develop innovative, progressive routines and sequences that keep classes fresh, motivating, and aligned with current best practice in Pilates methodology
Provide hands-on and verbal cueing to ensure correct form, alignment, and injury prevention
Conduct one-to-one sessions where required
Build genuine relationships with members, creating a welcoming and inclusive studio community
Maintain reformer equipment and studio space to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety
Stay current with industry trends, techniques, and continuing education opportunities
Support studio initiatives, promotions, and events as needed

What We're Looking For

Recognised Pilates instructor qualification (e.g. Level 3 Mat/Reformer Pilates, STOTT, BASI, Polestar, or equivalent)

Proven ability to design creative, varied, and challenging class formats

Excellent communication and motivational skills, with a warm and approachable teaching style

Strong understanding of anatomy, biomechanics, and injury modification

A genuine passion for health, wellbeing, and helping others achieve their goals

Professional, reliable, and punctual, with a polished studio presence

First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
