Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and versatile Handyman/Woman/Maintenance professional to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our facilities by performing a wide range of maintenance tasks. Duties
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems, equipment, and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform repairs involving plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, welding, and mechanical components with precision and safety in mind.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other automation tools to maintain or improve machinery functionality.
- Lead small maintenance projects or supervise team members during larger repair tasks to ensure timely completion.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used for accountability and future reference.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal requests promptly and professionally while maintaining a positive attitude.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in maintenance roles with a strong background in mechanical, electrical, or plumbing work.
- Knowledge of schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals essential for troubleshooting complex systems.
- Skilled in welding techniques with the ability to perform metal repairs safely and efficiently.
- Electrical experience including familiarity with PLCs and automation systems is highly desirable.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience in general maintenance tasks.
- Leadership or supervising experience demonstrating the ability to guide team members effectively.
- Excellent communication skills in English to clearly document work orders and interact with team members or clients.
- Customer service orientation with a proactive approach to problem-solving and maintaining safety standards.
