Full job description

We are a global and leading manufacturer of component parts for the electrical distribution industry. We are also a growing company, and require an experienced individual from an engineering background, to work on projects to improve our processes and undertake the work required to do this. As we have grown our customer base, we need to look at our processes and see where greater efficiencies and better methods would improve the factory moving forward.

We already have ideas and are looking for an individual who can work with us to fabricate these. We work in a production environment, and carry out processes in house, making a worldwide recognised product to British Standards, and would be looking for the below capabilities:

Engineering background, able to read drawings and execute the fabrication of an idea on paper, and construct this
Working with our team, to look at where improvements need to be made and follow ideas from drawing to construction
Able to apply knowledge from previous work to our line of work
Experience with welding and fabricating from metal is a must!
Maintaining equipment and our on-site suite of tools, for example fitting heaters into tools. We are also looking to add new tools to our suite, therefore able to work with setting up new tooling
Work with our CNC HAAS drilling machines

The role would be Monday - Friday 07:20-16:00, we have an attractive bonus and incentives for the right candidate, please call 01509 505894 for an informal discussion.
