Become a Bath Walking Tour Guide!

We are looking to add to our team of private tour guides in Bath. If you're friendly, love meeting new people, flexible and happy to share your passion for Bath to people from all walks of life then this role is perfect for you! Confidence speaking in front of large groups of people is a must.

Walking Tours in England provides city walking tours in towns and cities across the country. We have a passion for sharing the beauty of England with locals and tourists from across the world, and wish to make every visitor’s experience phenomenal.

Hours:

Part Time Position.
Private tours at variable times of day. Tours can last from 1.5-4 hours in length.
Variable tours in the off-season, then likely 1 or 2 tours a week from May-September. Summer availability is essential.

This job is very suitable for retired individuals, students and those looking for a part-time role to earn some extra money and are excited about sharing their passion and knowledge for Bath.

Skills and competency requirements:

Excellent English communication and storytelling skills.
Historical knowledge and passion for Bath.
Friendly and approachable.
Ability to work independently.
Flexibility in working hours.
Must be reliable and responsible.
Insider knowledge of the city, restaurant recommendations, things to do etc

Benefits:

Self-employed position
Training stipend rising to at least: £27 per 1.5 hour tour, £32 per 2 hour tour, £47 per 3 hour tour, £62 per 4 hour tour
Casual dress code & beautiful orange jacket uniform.
