We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated Digital Business Analyst to join our Digital Services team and support the Acute Oncology Services programme across South East Wales. This role will help deliver a digital solution that improves patient pathways, supports clinical teams and enhances the overall patient experience.
Working with stakeholders across the Trust and NHS Wales, you will support the development of a shared regional service model that promotes equitable access to care and consistent service standards, regardless of where patients live. The programme is built on strong collaboration, clear responsibilities and a shared commitment to successful delivery.

The post is offered on a fixed-term contract or secondment basis for 24 months . Secondment applicants must secure approval from their current line manager before applying and include a completed release form signed by both parties
This role is nested professionally within the Digital Services Directorate of Velindre University NHS Trust and will be responsible for the digital delivery of the Regional Acute Oncology programme providing business analysis services to projects across the programme to improve the digital pathway that is associated with acute cancer patient care.
The role will typically work on a number of assignments simultaneously; assignments will vary in scale and complexity resulting in assignments that vary from a small number of weeks to a number of months in duration.
The focus of the Business Analysis function is to clearly elicit, define and document stakeholder requirements. However, this is a 'full-lifecycle' role with possible involvement from business case development to operational review, via requirements, design, development, test, and implementation .
