Full job description

Clinical Support Worker band 3, 112.5 hours per week available.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work on Ward 4 at the West Cumberland Hospital, Whitehaven. Ward 4 is a 32 bedded care of the elderly ward caring for patients with a wide variety of complex medical care needs ranging from pts with rehab goals, palliative care, acute medicine and complex discharge planning

We offer extended learning opportunities to enhance your skills and support further education.

The successful candidates will work in support of the registered nursing team in providing the fundamentals of care for our patients. You will be expected to undertake the Care Certificate to enhance your knowledge and the care that you provide.

The role requires staff to work days, nights and weekends.

The essential criteria for this role includes the requirement to have a care certificate or the willingness and ability to undertake this. For further information please see the attached Care Certificate document attached.
