We offering a great opportunity for a Full-Time Head Dental nurse / Practice Coordinator to join a long standing predominantly private practice in Oxford City Centre. We are a fully computerised four surgery practice with a digital imaging system. We offer a wide range of treatments which include Dental Implants, Invisalign and Facial Aesthetics.
All candidates for this position are required to be a fully qualified Dental nurse with an active GDC registration.
Your role as a Head Dental Nurse / Practice Coordinator will be to:
- Perform high quality reception and administration services
- Establish and maintain productive working relationships with all team members and patients.
- Ensure CQC standards are always met
- Ensure practice compliance and audits are kept up to date in line with current standards set by the GDC, CQC and BDA
- Ensure all licenses, service contracts, equipment maintenance and employment records are kept up to date
- Ensure Information Governance is maintained and updated accordingly
- Conduct staff appraisals every 6 months.
- Prepare and conduct practice meetings on a monthly basis
- Lease with the practice partners on matters concerning administration, pay and service conditions
- Offer chair side assistance to our Endodontist / Implantologist 1 day a week
- Offer chair side assistance to our hygienists and dentists if other team members are on annual leave or off sick.
- Provide excellent patient care
Working hours are as follows:
Monday 8:00am – 4:30pm
Tuesday 8:00am – 4:30pm
Wednesday 8:00am – 4:30pm
Thursday 7:45am – 5:00pm (Working with specialist)
Friday 8:00am – 4:00pm
