Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacy Manager to oversee daily pharmacy operations within a healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in patient care, medication management, and clinical procedures, ensuring the delivery of exceptional pharmaceutical services. This leadership role requires a proactive approach to team management, regulatory compliance, and patient safety. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise pharmacy staff to ensure efficient and accurate dispensing of medications
- Oversee medication administration processes, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and legal requirements
- Manage inventory control, including procurement, storage, and stock rotation of pharmaceuticals
- Provide expert guidance on medication therapy management and patient care plans
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, pharmacy laws, and organisational policies
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimise patient outcomes through effective medication use
- Conduct regular audits and quality assurance checks to maintain high standards of service
- Facilitate ongoing staff training programmes on anatomy knowledge, medication updates, and clinical procedures
- Maintain accurate documentation for all pharmacy activities and patient records
- Stay current with advancements in pharmacy practice, including ICU experience requirements and new medication therapies
Qualifications
- Registered Pharmacist with valid practising credentials in the UK
- Significant experience in a clinical setting, preferably with ICU experience or specialised patient care roles
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, pharmacology, and medication administration protocols
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing pharmacy teams or departments
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Exceptional communication skills for liaising with healthcare professionals and patients
- Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated on industry best practices

Pay: £260,000.00-£350,000.00 per year
