We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Grange Hill Vets on a full-time or part-time basis.
Grange Hill Vets is a friendly, bright and airy practice located on the outskirts of Lichfield, offering the perfect blend of city convenience and countryside tranquility. Our rural setting, natural daylight and free on-site parking help create a positive and welcoming working environment.
As a small practice, we pride ourselves on our supportive team culture, where everyone works together to provide the best possible care for our patients. This is a varied and engaging role where you’ll be involved across nurse clinics, theatre, anaesthesia, consultations and pharmacy support.

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences.
You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.
Working Pattern
- Full-time or part-time applications considered
- Full-time: 36 hours per week, worked over 4 or 5 days between 8:15am and 7:00pm
- Part-time: 25 hours per week, worked over 3 or 4 days between 8:15am and 7:00pm, Monday to Friday
- 1 in 4 Saturdays, 8:45am to 2:45pm
General Responsibilities
- Deliver high standards of nursing care across a varied first opinion caseload
- Run consultations and nurse clinics, supporting preventative healthcare and client education
- Support surgical procedures, including anaesthesia monitoring and theatre nursing
- Assist with patient care, recovery and clinical workflow throughout the day
We’re looking for a confident and motivated Registered Veterinary Nurse who enjoys working as part of a team and delivering high standards of care. You’ll bring:
- Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS
- Experience working in clinical practice, with growing confidence in medical and surgical nursing
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage workload effectively
- A proactive approach to learning, reflection, and continuous improvement
