Your Role:
- Responsible for day-to-day running of general earthworks activity
- Work with the Works Manager and Engineering team to set the plans for the work and then execute them
- Lead and motivate a team of skilled workers
- Maintain high standards of safety and quality
- Demonstrable first-class approach to health, safety and environmental issues.
- Experience in managing multiple earthworks gangs
- Capable of reading and working on a 3-week programme.
- A sound understanding of quality requirements
- Able to work professionally with Clients representatives of a similar level or one step higher on a daily basis, and where required, engage with visiting Client representatives of all levels.
- Able to demonstrate leadership, and be visible and approachable by employees, other staff, and Clients. Ensure everyone on site is treated fairly and with respect.
Essential:
- SMSTS qualification
- Minimum of CSCS Gold Card.
- Minimum 5 years experience in bulk Earthworks
