at Maintenance Technician (Multi-Skilled)
Location: Barley Chalu, Wymondham
Hours: 06:00–14:00, Monday to Friday (40 hours per week)
Overtime: Paid at an overtime rate (evening/weekends)
Pay: £40,000 - £50,000. Salary dependent on experience and qualifications
The Role
We are looking for a reliable Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep of our production equipment and facilities. Gas and pipework experience is preferred, but candidates with general maintenance experience will be considered for a junior role.
Key Duties

Carry out routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections on machinery and equipment.
Diagnose faults and carry out repairs to minimise downtime.
Complete scheduled preventive maintenance tasks.
Work with production teams to prioritise urgent maintenance needs.
Keep basic maintenance records and work logs.
Assist with installing and testing new equipment.
Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
Manage spare parts and liaise with external contractors when needed.

Skills & Experience (Desirable but Not Essential)

Maintenance, mechanical or plumbing experience (industrial experience preferred).
Relevant qualifications such as City & Guilds Level 2 or 3 (or similar) are an advantage.
Ability to troubleshoot and carry out repairs independently.
Good teamwork and communication skills.
Willingness to work occasional overtime.
Physically fit and able to carry out hands-on maintenance tasks.
