We are looking for an experienced and hardworking Floor Layer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in all aspects of floor laying.
You will be working on residential and commercial projects, delivering high-quality workmanship and professional finishes.
Responsibilities
- Prepare subfloors and carry out site form work
- Install vinyl, LVT, carpet tiles, carpets, and safety flooring
- Fit and install sit-on skirting
- Fit flooring to set-in skirting neatly
- Measure, cut, and fit flooring accurately
- Use levelling compounds and floor preparation materials
- Uplift and disposal of existing flooring materials and waste.
- Complete work to a high professional standard
- Keep work areas clean and safe
- Follow all health and safety procedures
- Work independently and as part of a team
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Floor Layer / Flooring Installer
- Experience with site form preparation
- Experience fitting set-in skirting and sit-on skirting
- Good attention to detail and finishing
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Full UK driving licence preferred
- CSCS card preferred
